Track Name: Living Vicariously
Look at me,
gazing through a glass screen.
Living vicariously,
trying to feel at ease.

Electronic fiend --
junky to the latency.
Living vicariously;
solely through images of me.

Deep it a shallow grave,
blue shadow cast over my face.
Living vicariously;
phishing for some sense of sympathy.

Electronic fiend --
junky to the latency.
Living vicariously;
forever in a static dream.
Track Name: Cold Orbit
Even if I wanted to fly,
I’d be denied.
‘Cause if I tried,
they’d probably check my tainted spine.

I’ll never leave this cold orbit of mine.
Track Name: Ogygia
The sea is walking the earth,
with a heavy heel.
Deep blemishes
crusted over like a syrupy sweet.

I wanna sail away
to a paradise:

where I can trick my brain
that I am truly nice;

where I can turn my cheek
and still feel benedight;

where I can sear my skin
below the moon’s dim light;

where I can see myself
through saccharine eyes.
Track Name: Shiny New Glass Palaces
Shiny new glass palaces
floating on cleansed dirt --
they rose up from the ashes
still covered in blood-red soot.

Hovering vacant masses --
ghost city upon a hill,
eventually teeters and tumbles
back down to the soured earth.
